The Pago de Guerra above La Herradura is being prepared for its annual romería, giving the hamlet a spring clean and the access lane receiving special attention .

The XXII Romería de Nuestra Señora de Fátima y Sagrado Corazón de Jesús will be held on Sunday the 27th.

In the meantime, the Asociación de Amigos de de Fátima del Pago de Guerra Alta and the Herradura offices of Almuñécar Town Hall have all hands on deck getting it ready for the procession amongst other tasks.

The procession will set out at 13.00h from the chapel and head for Cortijo Cabrera where all the activities for the event will be held. Then around 18.30h the procession will return to the chapel for the Mass service.
