The accumulated snow up on the higher areas of the Sierra Nevada is three metres deep in places; you wanted snow, you got snow, you might consider.
In fact, tomorrow the avalanche risk is forecast as “extreme,” 5/5 in the areas of Veleta, Laguna & Loma de Dílar, and the rest of the ski area are just one lower on the scale of five, 4/5, which is “very high.”

All day yesterday the wind was around 100 kph in the Laguna Seca and Camarate areas but eleven slopes of the 22 were operative at 11.00h Tuesday morning, giving just over 13 kilometres of ski slopes.
Obviously, the company that runs the ski slopes highly recommends that skiers do not venture off the slopes because of the high avalanche risk.
