A man in Motril is under investigation by the Policía Nacional concerning the death of another man in that town. The victim had died as a consequence of a gunshot wound.

The shooting incident took place in the early hours of Sunday around 01.30h, when witnesses saw two individuals leaving an injured man lying on Calle Islas Cíes, which is next to Hospital Santa Ana. 

The two men fled the scene after asking for help for the victim, who had a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim has still no been identified and his body has been taken to the Instituto de Medicina Legal, in Granada for an autopsy.
