A woman died yesterday night after her 4x4 left a forest track and rolled 70 metres down a barranco near the popular restaurante, Fuente del Hervidero above La Zubia

The emergency coordination centre, 112, received an alert just after 21.30h to report the accident, which occurred, more accurately on Cerro Gordo.

They immediately informed the Guardia Civil and the Centro de Emergencias Sanitarias (CES) 061.

La Guardia Civil confirmed that the driver was a 37-year-old woman but there is no further information as to her identity.
