If you live in Lobres, by the time you read this, you will have already discovered that your water has been cut off - cheer up! It's only until 17.00h!

The water utility company, Aguas y Servicios said that it will affect the whole village and that this work is very necessary because they will be cleaning out the local water tank.

“We are determined to maintain the infrastructure in optimal conditions,” said the Spokeperson.

However, they do recommend that once the water suppy is restored, you should let your taps run for at least five minutes, which will flush the system out.

For those dwellings with their own water tanks, Aguas y Servicios recommends that they don’t let any water into their tanks until normal flow is established.

The First Councillor for Lobres expressed his gratitude to the water-utility company and apologised for all inconveniences caused by this maintenance work.
