The man who lost his life in a motorcycle accident on the N-340 in La Herradura on Monday was a Polish resident.

The 37-year-old rider was flung down a steep embankment in the area known as La Cañada. The fire personnel brought his body back up to the road and were assisted by friends of the victim in removing the motorbike.

The Mayor of Almuñécar, Juan José Ruiz Joya also went to the scene of the accident.
