A woman from Dúrcal in the Valle de Lecrín was allegedly attacked by her partner yesterday, who stabbed her in the arm.

The knife attack followed a heated verbal argument. He reportedly aimed for her chest but she intercepted the thrust with her arm; hence the knife wound to the arm.

The attack took place around 14.30h, after which the assailant ran off. However, yesterday evening (when this article was written) he was still at large and had not been arrested.
