A lorry driver in his late 50's was stopped by the police in Navarra and was found to have seven times the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
When the police told him he would have to appear in court, he invited them to come and have a couple of beers with him – they were not impressed.

This happened on Monday evening on the A-1 within the municipality of Olazagutía. The 58-year-old, driver had lost control of the vehicle and it had jackknifed, straddling the exit ramp, according to the Policía Foral de Navarra
The obstruction forced the police to shut down the road for a while until another lorry driver was found to get the lorry moving again.
