The Guardia Civil arrested a driver after clocking him at a speed of 218 kph on an autopista which has a speed limit of 120 kph.

This occurred around 21.30h on the 1st of this month within the municipality of Mijas (Málaga) on the AP-7 westbound lanes.

The driver, who was Italian, was in a top-of-the-range make of car with Czech number plates. He was finally pulled over near San Pedro Alcántara and booked for breaking the speed limit by 98 KPH.
