The Provincial Law Court of Málaga will soon be hearing the case against a woman charged with stabbing her boyfriend during an argument.
The boyfriend also stands accused of attacking her but not with a weapon.

According to the Public Prosecutor, both accused had been in a live-in relationship for eight years in Benalmádena.
The incident took place in July 2021. Both were at home when an argument began over family matters. At a given moment the woman allegedly slapped the man in the face and he struck her back.
At this point she stomped off into the kitchen and returned with a large kitchen knife and stabbed him on the left side of his chest.
He fled out of the flat and out onto the street, trailing blood, in search of help.
Now, the woman had bruises on her arms and a lump on her head. She also has old scars which she claims were from previous fights.
The man, on the other hand , had a stab wound, six centemetres deep which required being hospitalised for four days and a total of 32 days for the wound to completely heal.
Consequently, the Public Prosecutor recommends a prison sentence of eight years for attempted murder for the woman and a court order to prevent her from approaching him within 500 metres.
Information on what the Public Prosecutor is recommending for the punctured man was not included in the press release.
