Sea Life Exhibition in Almuñécar

There is now a mobile exhibition in the Plaza del Agua in Almuñécar, which is the one next to the entrance to the municipal police station.

Mayor Juan José Ruiz Joya, together with the Chairman of the Port Authorities in Motril, José García Fuentes, as well as the Chairman of the Fundación Museo del Mar de Ceuta, Fernando Rodríguez, were at the inauguration of the exhibition yesterday.

The exhibition, which consists of 14 boards (four with information and 10 with photographs), is entitled Pleamar (high tide) and will remain there until the 30th of this month.

The Chairman of the Port Authorities, José García Fuentes, considers the exhibition to be “interesting,” explaining that the Pleamar Project has the aim of showing the diversity that we have under the sea and demonstrating that the “Economia Azul and Environmental Sustainability are compatible.”

The Chairman of the Fundación Museo del Mar de Ceuta, Fernando Rodríguez, thanked the Mayor of Almuñecar and the Chairman of the Motril Port for hosting this display on our subaquatic flora and fauna.

The exhibition was previously in Castell de Ferro from the first of this month until moving to Almuñécar, after which it will move to Motril Port.
