Motril will be the host of the IX Motofest this coming weekend, confirmed the Councillor for Fiestas and Events, Miguel Fernández.

On Saturday the 15th and Sunday the 16th in the Plaza de Toros residents and visitors will have the chance of seeing some great cars. In fact, around 500 vehicles (cars & bikes) of all types are expected to participate coming from all over.

On the first day the show will start at 16.00h and will go on until 01.45h and Sunday from 09.00h to 18.00h with ‘drifting’ and acrobatic-motorbike displays.

The Plaza de Toros will be divided into a separate area for drifting and other displays and a camping area, with a bar where food and drinks can be purchased. There will also be entertainment for kids and a raffle.

The entrance fee is 20 euros per participating vehicle, which includes two people.

Event organiser, Miguel Fernández, said that this year there would be many novelties, including a foam party.
