The diplomatic tension between Spain and Israel continues to rankle following Spain's decision to back the recognition of a Palestinian State.

The radical members of the Israeli administration, such as its Minister of the Exterior, Israel Katz, decided to post a doctored image of the Spanish PM and the Vice PM with broken eggs on their faces following the results of EU elections.

“The Spanish people have punished the Pedro Sánchez/Yolanda Díaz, coalition government with a resounding defeat in the elections. It shows that embracing Hamas murderers and rapists isn’t worth it,” he tweetted.

These “Israeli provocations” expressed the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, said that they will be met with a “serene and firm” Spanish response in order not to escalate the situation further.

Editorial comment: the fact that there are only two seats difference between the PP (22) and the PSOE (20) has been conveniently ignored by the radical, ultra-nationalist Israel katz in order to make this infantile tweet. His tweet says more about the teetering state of the Israeli cabinet than about Spain.
