Katie Gatens wrote an article in The Times where she points out the obvious — the City of Granada's poor connections; i.e., the lack of flights to the UK.
However, her article was far from being critical with the city because what she emphasised is that Granada was a much better option for a weekend away than Málaga or Sevilla.
She says that although travel arrangement for a weekend stay are more complicated when flying from the UK, it is well worth it, given the presence of the Alhambra and Sacromonte and the compact form that the city centre has, allowing you to experience so much without having to travel far within the city.
She mentions the teeming tapa bars in the backstreets, but what she didn’t mention was the fact that tapas are free with drinks all across the province of Granada and not just the city, which is certainly not the case in the provinces of Málaga and Sevilla.
