A 27-year-old man succumbed to his injuries at the Hospital Regional de Málaga after falling from a 4th-storey window in Fuengirola.

This accident occurred simply because he had left his door keys inside his apartment and decided to jump from one window to another in order to  enter his home.

The emergency call-centre received an alert at 09.45h on Wednesday the 17th of this month to report the accident on Calle Francisco Merino, in Fuengirola.

The victim, who had arrived from Colombia about 18 months ago to find work, suffered multiple fractures as a result of the fall and was rushed to the ICU at the said hospital. He died the next day.

His friends are trying to collect funds to have his ashes sent home.
