Many people in Salobreña have been out looking for a small dog called Bobby, which is the companion animal of an 80-year-old man.
This 4-year-old Yorkshire terrier disappeared on the night of the 1st of November on Calle Nicolás Redondo, close to the Casa Roja area, where it’s owner lives.
Bobby is more than just a pet, as he is a constant companion to an elderly man in a wheelchair after suffering a stroke. Whenever his owner needs help from the man’s family, who live nearby, Bobby barks to alert them.
This barking has helped his owner on several occasions after mishaps and Bobby has never wandered off, which has led the family to suspect that the dog had been taken.
Social media has echoed news of this disappearance, as have the Policía Local. Consequently, the family have asked anybody who has seen Bobby to contact them on 610 342 186.
