La Guardia Civil in collaboration with the Policía Local in Maracena arrested a man accused of burgling his own parents' house.

He is suspected of climbing to an upstairs balcony, entering and stealing money and jewellery. To gain entrance he had to break the roller blind and the sliding, glass door.

He was rumbled after he was captured on the CCTV of a gold-purchasing shop where he tried to sell a stolen ankle bracelet (una esclava).

The burglary took place two weeks ago on Calle Jardines in Maracena. Several days later he tried to sell the jewellery in several shops specialising in purchasing gold.

The Guardia Civil came across him on the same street as the burgled house still with stolen items on him.
