Everything is ready in Ítrabo for the first Gastrofestival this coming weekend over three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

There will be a variety of activities, such as show-cooking, masterclass, music, workshops and dish sampling for all tastes. In short, everything from main dishes to desserts.

There will also be local-wine tasting, which will probably blow your socks off and even homemade beers.

There’s even a chance to sample different types of honey, aceite virgen and artisan rum, made from local sugar cane that still exists.

There will be a locals’ crafts and products market – God, you’re all so spoilt!

Mayor Antonio Jesús Carrascosa is mightily chuffed that this tiny village will get an influx of visitors, naturally, so make his day and pop over to Ítrabo!
