The newly born, abandoned baby found on a street in the city of Málaga is to be adopted.
The Junta de Andalucía reached this decision to pass the baby into immediate adoption rather than to foster parents, as the DNA results offered no clue to the child’s identity, according to the Consejería de Inclusión Social, Juventud, Familias e Igualdad.
The Junta wanted to avoid that the baby entered into temporary care, so they have sped up the process to coincide with when the baby is released from medical care at the city’s maternity hospital.
In fact, the law court that took on the case also concluded that this was the best course of action.
