Alqueria de los lentos are hosting their monthly garden-market event on Saturday the 7th, starting at 10.00h.
The Mercadillo Artesanal at Alqueria de los lentos (a rural hotel in a converted mill from 1853) is a very popular event, attracting stall holders and visitors from the Costa Tropical and inland Granada.
It’s not only about a market in a beautiful garden setting, but also live music with local band, Slowtown Trio and the maestro Maezo.
There’ll be over 40 artisans at the event, with one of the best crêpe makers in the valley providing food, as well as street-food available.
Artist, Cecilia and guest-artist, Paul have conjured up a mega sundial in an area of the gardens.
Parking shouldn’t be a problem as the hotel has its own parking, as well as there being a provisional arrangement on ground on the other side the road.

It wasn’t me Martin, honest Guv! I’m an Eastender! What a shame I missed you. Next time I would go a little later, as I overheard the live music starts at 2pm
Julie: We’ve come back from there ourselves – a great afternoon. Might have even seen you there, although I don’t know what you look like. Did speak to an American Lady who was wondering where to put their used paper plates. Guessing it wasn’t you.
What a lovely place and people. I have just come back from the Artisan market after having bought good quality natural hemp and lavander oil to help my insomnia! I will definitely be back another day.
