The Almuñécar municipal police issued almost a hundred fines during the fiesta week, between the 9th and the 15th, according to the Chief of Police.

Most of the fines handed out were for infringing local bylaws, such as vandalic acts, urinating in public and alcohol consumption on the streets, amongst others.

There were also those fined for having drugs on them but there were two fines that stand out concerning establishments staying open longer than legally permitted, as well as selling alcohol to minors.

As for on the fairground itself or Feria del Dia, there were no fights or acts of aggression. However, one person had a clasp knife confiscated on the first night of the summer fair.
