You Might Have Noticed

The Salobreña Oficina de Turismo, which is on the Plaza Goya, has reopened to the public after being closed around a year due to lack of staff.

SAL Tourist Information Beach KioskUp to the beginning of September, it is mornings only and after that, morning and afternoons. There’s also a Punto de Información Turística (PIT) next to the Proteccion Civil hut on Playa de la Charca.

The Councillor for Tourism, M.ª Carmen Callejón, said that the Tourist Information Office (having stood closed for so long) was one of the main problems that they found themselves with when the present Mayor and his team took over and with summer almost upon them.

Sra. Callejón explained that the opening times for the Information Point (kiosk) on the beach is Monday to Sunday, 11-30h to 13.00h and 17.00h to 20.00h. The main office in the Plaza Goya, however, opens from 09.30h to 13.30h until the beginning of September when it will also open in the afternoons between 16.30h and 20.00h.
