The emergency number received a call around 17.45h on the 24th from an injured woman, suffering a possible fractured ankle, on a hike along Río Albuñuelas in an area known as the Callejones de Albuñuelas.
The Grupo de Rescate e Intervención en Montaña (Greim) sent out a helicopter with a team onboard to located and rescue the 30-year-old woman.
Once located, she was taken to the nearest heliport where an ambulance was waiting to take her to Trauma (Hospital, Virgen de las Nieves).
