Promoting Old Town La Herradura

La Herradura will once again enjoy a cultural cycle this summer, every Friday night, under the name "El Rincón de la Costa de Graná".

“This is a platform that wants to continue promoting local culture, for the second consecutive year, giving voice to tourism in the Old Town”, according to Homero Barbero, who together with the Mayor’s Office, are the organisers.

“This year we moved to the Plaza de San José as we have more space in the Old Town. Every night, from 21.00h to 23.00h, residents and visitors will enjoy singing, poetry, painting, art, etc,” explained Sra. Barbero.

He went on to say that, “On the first night, scheduled for the 7th of July, there will be local singers such as Rafael Muñoz “El Niño de El Cerval,” Diana Fernández, José Antonio Tello, accompanied by Miguel de Carmen on the guitar and dances performed by Geno Rodríguez, as well as poetry read by local poets.”

For his part, the first Councillor for Herradura, Daniel Barbero, highlighted the success of this initiative last year, as a dynamic element in La Herradura’s Old Town, and encouraged participation, whilst congratulating this platform for providing quality art and excellent work.
