The Provincial Board of Tourism has included the very popular restaurant, Los Naranjos in Melegís, within its 2023 Awards.

Those businesses that received recognition awards were: Cervezas Alhambra, (for its very brand name which helps promote the province), the tour operator, Vista Travel, (for being a company with an excellent reputation in its sector within Spain) The Orce Town Hall (for promoting the development of its municipality through its heritage) and, as previously stated, Restaurante Los Naranjos de Melegís, for its quality, local gastronomy throughout its 35 years of existence.

The Vallejo family (José Antonio Vallejo and María del Mar Roldán, together with their adult children, Mar and Jose) stepped up in this gala ceremony to accept the prize.

Restaurante y Hostal Rural Los Naranjos, can be found in the village of Melegís within the Valley de Lecrín and is tremendously popular amongst the foreign population as well as Spanish residents and visitors.

If you haven’t eaten there, you are missing out. The establishment also has a garden with playpark aparatus for children.
