The 5th floor of Hospital Clínico on the Parque Tecnológico de la Salud in Granada had to be evacuated yesterday because of a small fire.
Three fire engines turned up to tackle the fire, which started in a wastepaper bin. Putting it out was not difficult; the difficult part was carrying out a partial evacuation of a general hospital.
The fire service had the fire dealt with and had returned to the fire station by 15.25h.
As for the fire, it appears to have been caused intentionally as nobody can explain how a wastepaper bin should go up in flames.
This is the third fire recently on the PTS with two in the hospital itself and one in an adjacent office block.
