The capital of the Alpujarra Granadina, Órgiva, saw a sprawling punch up Saturday evening, around six o'clock.

One of the participants, a 40-year-old man, was seriously injured owing to a stab wound and was taken to Hospital Santa Ana in Motril.

What kicked off the confrontation on Calle Ángel is not clear, although our readers in Órgiva might know something, so please get in contact, if that is the case.

The Guardia Civil managed to identify seven of the participants and are trying to ascertain who started it and why.
