Taken to a Higher Authority

The Plataforma por las Infraestructuras de la Costa Tropical is getting ready to go to Brussels in April to report the lack of progress on the Rules Dam.

GRA Rules 400x250 FB22It should be remembered that before the EU hands over more funds for the water-distribution system, they had already sent 80m euros, which were never used completely; i.e, where is the rest?

In the meantime, the business & farming sectors will hold a meeting with the country’s two major parties, the PSOE and PP on the 13th and 14th of this month with the hope after 40 years of political ping pong, the two parties will get their fingers out and start acting in unison behind the Rules problem.

However, the Plataforma por las Infraestructuras de la Costa Tropical  has stated, “We cannot expect anything from politicians in Granada and Andalucía as they do not defend our interests,” explained the Chairman of Aecost, Javier Rubiño.

There were overtures of combined, local, political support for prompting the Central Government (PSOE) and the Junta de Andalucía (PP) to work in coordination instead of passing the hot potato, but that has since evaporated, it seems.

It’s a bit like PPE Monies (gone very quite on that one. Too sick to be questioned??) or contracts for rail infrastructure or Arabic rail contracts !! You give me or us a lot. We spend a bit and keep the rest. Nice and safe in Panama or Gibraltar or the Falklands. Anywhere away from the Hacienda. !! Bank of EU. Take a lot. Give out more. !!
