The Sierra Nevada ski station has beaten its own record for advanced purchase of ski passes (forfaits) for multiple days.
Thanks to the discounts offered, they have sold 5,200 ski passes for 10, 15 and 20 days, as well as season tickets for individuals and families.
The Chairwoman of the semi-public company Cetursa Sierra Nevada, Marifrán Carazo, who is also a regional MP, has emphasised the success of the promotional campaign, which she considers is because of the good management orientation.
“Sierra Nevada users are evaluating positively the improvements [of the installations] carried out by Jesús Ibañez’s team, backed by the Junta de Andalucía,” she said. In other words, the increase in advanced sales is a reflection of work done to improve the ski resort’s installations.
From the 15th of September to the 17th of October, ski passes had a discount of 20%, except for 15-day passes, which had 30% off. This translates into 76,000 days of skiing, which in turn represents a 20% increase on last year’s skiing season — the previous best skiing season ever.
From now until the 10th of November, the discount on advanced purchases is 10%, pointed out the ski-station manager, Jesús Ibáñez.

I’m very jealous. I cannot even water ski. Let alone this option. !!
