Lifeguards on duty on Playa Velilla in Almuñécar went to the rescue of people adrift in a RIB and towed them back to the beach.

The 6-metre-long craft with two people onboard had developed a leak yesterday afternoon, not far from the Aquatropic waterpark breakwater.

When they reached the dingy, the lifeguards requested an ambulance because one of the two occupants was feeling sick.
