A fisty cuffs between two young males in Motril's Huerta Carrasco ended up in a knifing incident yesterday afternoon.
The confrontation took place around 17.30h on Calle Apolo between a 21-year old and a 23-year old, but it didn’t end there because the family of the knife-victim went out looking for the culprit with a shotgun.
The family was also armed with a pistol, for good measure when they took to the streets later that evening, around 20.30h.
However, they didn’t manage to have a tête-a-tète, or better said, a tête-a-gun barrel and finally returned home disappointed and disgruntled.
The Policía Nacional went round to this dodgy district but none of the residents were willing to make any statements other than, “bugger off!”
The victim, was treated for his two, non-life-threatening, stab wounds in Hospital Santa Ana. This morning, however, the culprit turned himself in at the Motril police station where he awaits in their holding cells for an appearance before a magistrate on Monday.
