Ground crew at the Algiers International Airport discovered the bodies of two brothers in the landing gear compartment of an Airbus A330-202.
The bodies were found on Saturday the 4th after a third brother had contacted the authorities because he had received a video message from inside the landing-gear compartment from the two men.
The aeroplane was on a turn round after having come from Paris and was due to take off again for Barcelona. The aircraft was grounded whilst forensic police carried out their investigation.
On the 9th of March a 16-year-old lad managed to get into the cargo hold of an Air Algerie jet liner. His body was found after the aircraft landed at the Charles de Gaulle International Airport in Paris.
Editorial comment: after having scanned the Internet for more on this story, it is still not clear when they got into the L/G compartment, yet it must have been in Paris, in which case, why? If it were in the opposite direction, it would make more sense.
