Two people were killed and twelve injured when the bus that they were travelling on turned over; two of those injured are in a serious condition.

The accident occurred on the A-8327 around 06.50h on Wednesday in Pedrera in the province of Sevilla. All the passengers were workers for the same company.

One of those critically injured was taken to Hospital de Osuna and afterward flown by helicopter to Hospital Virgen del Rocío in Sevilla.

Most of those with non-life-threatening injuries were treated at the Estepa Centro de Salud.

Another twelve passengers on the bus did not require treatment other than First Aid at the scene of the accident.

Most of the passengers were Romanians so the Romanian Consulate has provided a telephone number for relatives contact.
