The Restaurante-Escuela, Horno de Cándida, will be giving a course on wine tasting on the 29th and 30th of this month
The Cata de Vinos course is completely free and is for those in the hostelry trade, explained the Councillor for Employment, Beatriz González, who added that there will be diplomas handed out at the end of the course.
The classes will be given in the said restaurant school, which is in the old town of Almuñécar, above the Town Hall Square, more or less.
The course has a duration of seven hours. The first day, Friday, is from 17.00h to 20.00h and on the Saturday between 09.00h and 13.00h.
There is also an oil tasting course, so that students can recognise the different classes of olive oil. This Cata de Aceites course will last six hours over the 6th and 7th of May, between 17.00h and 20.00h on the first day and 10.00h and 13.00h on the second.
Those interested in either course should approach the Fomento y Empleo department on the 2nd floor of the Casa de La Cultura or telephone 958 639 170 or email at fomentoyempleo@almunecar.es.
