It’s Back

As you wake up this morning and look out of your windows, what you will see is a now familiar panorama - a veritable Groundhog Day.

A View of Salobreña Castle…

All those who got their cars cleaned, hosed down their terraces and even emptied their pools are now faced with the same task all over again because it has all been for nothing.

It’s the same eerie landscape out there with cars circulating with their lights on, more to be seen than to see anything.

Mind you, a bit of dust (OK quite a few tonnes) is nothing compared with the torrential downpours experience on the east coast and further along to the west from here, in Málaga. Whilst we had a blustery night and a good coating of dust, they saw extensive flooding with rivers breaking their banks and flooding streets.

Another problems from these two separate occasions with Saharan dust might be the air filters on vehicles, which could need a good cleaning,

Many will suspect that this sort of weather will be more frequent than before; perhaps every year, so it might be an idea to consider what colour to paint your house – dusty red/brown could be a good option.
