It's that time of year when La Herradura becomes a minor nightmare thanks to the fairground along the eastern end of the Paseo Andrés Segovia.
After two years with no San José fiestas, this March all stops have been pulled out so that La Herradura can enjoy to the full its village fêtê.
Starting at the beginning of the week, the Policía Local turned the street running parallel with the beach road into a 2-way systems; i.e., Calle Alhambra, as far as Calle Giralda, where the old medical centre used to be.
This system will remain in place up to and including Monday, which is when they will pack up the fairground attractions.
The First Councillor for the village apologises for the inconveniences caused and asks both residents and visitors to respect this temporary set up.
