Dangerous Delivery

A court official who was handing over a court notice in Granada received four impacts from an airgun, in her head, neck and hand.

The trouble is as these BB have gone in quite deep, the surgeon have opted for leaving them in and make their own way out. She has been told that when they do return to the surface, to hook them out.

The victim; let’s call her Maria, turned up on a Thursday at midday and rang the bell. “What do you want,” came the voice from the intercom speaker. She said who she was and why she was there. Then the intercom went dead

She waited patiently, ordering her paperwork when the man opened the door and literally sprang at her. Obviously, it share the hell out of her because she saw the pistol and thought that it was a real one – it wasn’t but it could have been just as deadly.

He put the pistol up aiming at her temple and fired. Not satisfied, he hung onto her and fired off two shots more, hitting her in the neck (2) and in her hand when she raised it to defend herself. He continued fire until he had finished the magazine, but the rest went wide although one grazed an lower eyelid and another her lip.

The Policía Nacional arrested the man a few hours – he was still at home, siuated in the north of the city where police officers fear to tread. In fact, the judicial-workers union, Sindicato Profesional de Justicia, have called a meeting over the safety of its members having to carry out their duties there. They want their members always to be accompanied by police officers if they have to venture into the area.
