Things have improved vastly with only two municipalities having a contagion rate over a thousand: Juviles and Otívar, which we will explain a bit further on.

For the rest of the municipalities within the Costa Tropical and La Alpujarra, the figures range between 946 per 100,000 in 14 days and zero cases (of which there are nine out of a total of 44 municipalities).

Getting back to Juviles, they have had only three cases, but with a population of a mere 136, it has given them a contagion figure of 2,205.

As for Otívar with its population of 1,012, there have been eleven cases, giving it a contagion ratio of 1,087.

So, we are certainly over the hump of the Sixth Wave and hopefully the last wave of this pandemic – fingers crossed
