Salobreña Town Hall has knocked up an interesting hiking programme for this coming walking season, with the first one scheduled for October.
The Programa Municipal de Senderismo comprises of nine walks within the provinces of Málaga and Jaén as well as our own one, Granada, explained the Councillor for Sports, Manuel Guirado.
On the 17th of October the first hike of the seasons is to the Cascadas de Padronegro in the Sierra de Huétor and the last route of the season will be on the 12th of June with a visit to the Vereda de la Yedra in Nívar.
Between these dates will be walks in Nerja, Los Tajos de Alhama and the Laguna de Padul, amongst others
The requisites are that you must be over 18 (no problem there, then) and the maximum number permitted for any of the planned walks is 50 persons. Minors can go along as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
