Yesterday saw the ambulance that is allocated to covering the beaches in Almuñécar and La Herradura make two runs to the Centro de Salud in Almuñécar.
The first run was from La Herradura at 15.20h, taking a 43-year-old woman with a dislocated shoulder.
When coming out of the water she had slipped and landed heavily on her arm. She was first given first aid by two lifeguards on duty there to immobilise the limb.
The second run happened barely 30 minutes later but this time from the lifeguard post on Playa Puerta del Mar in Almuñécar.
The victim in this case had been complaining of feeling very strange and was getting shooting pains all over and his hands had seized up.
Let’s see how today, Sunday, turns out.
