The Casa Fuerte housing project in La Herradura is going ahead comprising of 28 dwellings of one, two and three bedrooms, which are now on sale according to their website.
The project dates back to 2008 coinciding with the economic crisis when the housing bubble blew up. The first company behind the building left the first phase 70% complete in the area of La Herradura known as El Llanito.
The project languished over the intervening years with the incomplete and empty houses being very problematic for nearby, inhabited housing on
Then at the end of 2019 the development company SUBA finally managed to acquire the project and recommence the administrative steps with the Town Hall to complete it. Since then the construction work went ahead as planned and within the time period foreseen.
