The only stipulation is that you have to be able to travel to the official vaccination points within the provinces. The anti-viral drug that will be administered are Pfizer or Moderna.
People will be called by order of age; i.e., the older you are, the sooner you will be called by the Servicio Andaluz de Salud (SAS).
Having received the jab, patients will have to remain in the vaccination centre, which have all been chosen for easy access, at least 15 minutes to make sure there are no immediate after effects.
Another group that will be receiving there jabs starting this week are home-helpers; those under 55 will received AstraZeneca and those over will receive Pfizer.
(News: Andalucia)

I will try to speak to the Director of Salobreña Medical Centre on Monday or Tuesday to find out about residents with private health insurance of an age 80 or over how and when they will receive the vaccination.
Martin: No, my husband and I don’t have an Andalusian health card. Can we get these in Almuñécar or do we have to go to Motril? We just have private health insurance and private doctors. We are in our 60s and 70s too.
Any idea how to become ‘de alta’ when you have private healthcare which was a condition of your residency?
Christine Do you have an Andalusian health card? It doesn’t matter whether you are EU or not – the Brits aren’t either, now – what matters is that you are de alta and have a public-health doctor assigned.
Best news in the GAZETTE – ever 😉
How are we informed ?
Does anyone know how we non-EU Legal Residents get on the official vaccination “list”?
Thank you Martin.
