Spiderman made a surprise visit to the children’s ward for cancer patients at the Hospital Materno Infantil in Málaga, abseiling down the facade.
Eduardo Balboa, a 31-year-old officer belonging to the Policía Nacional, swung by the said ward, but it wasn’t the first time because he has been dressing up as this super hero for the last eight years, bringing a smile to the real super heroes; the kids on the cancer ward.
Normally, he would appear on the ward, greeting the kids face-to-face but with this year’s health restrictions, for obvious reasons, he didn’t want to risk taking anything onto the ward other than good intentions, so he decided to abseil down the facade, knocking on the closed windows to the wonder of the kids within.
Asked why he chose Spiderman as his disguise, he responded that he didn’t have the physique to play Hulk and needed somebody less muscle bound… Spiderman!
