Medical staff belonging to the Junta will carry out mass screening in Almuñécar, starting Friday the 20th and finishing on Sunday the 22nd.
This will affect 800 people over the three days, according to the Mayor, Trinidad Herrera, who was informed of the details by the Southern-Granada Medical Area.
In order to process 800 people, six teams will set up operations in the municipal sports stadium, Francisco Bonet on the P-4.
Testing begins on Friday at 15.30h and will continue until 20.00h with a 30-minute break between 17.30h & 18.00h. 240 people will be called on this first day. Those selected will be informed via an SMS beforehand.
On Saturday, 330 people will be tested, starting at 08.30h. This will last until 10.30h followed by a break until 11.00h. The next session will run from 11.00h until 14.30h. In the first batch 120 people will be tested and in the second, another 220.
Finally, on Sunday, testing starts at 08.30h until a break at 10.30h of only 15 minutes. Starting 10.45h this final session will last until 12.45h. During each session on Sunday, 120 people will be tested.
