The Councillor for the Economy at Salobreña Town Hall, Belén Sánchez, has announced that beginning next week the fiscal calendar would reactivate.

The whole system was put on hold during the months of the confinement but now municipal taxes and rates will come back online.

However, amongst the measures taken to palliate people’s financial circumstances, the payment of local taxes and rates can be made between now and the 30th of December without incurring surcharges.

Furthermore, those that wish it, can ‘fractionise’ (break up into smaller amounts) sums owed, without incurring interest. Those that wish to do so should make it known at the Oficina de Atención al Ciudadano (OAC) either in person or via Internet.
