A teenage girl fell from the second floor of a block of flats under construction in Salobreña yesterday evening.

The 15-year-old girl was badly injured and rushed to the area hospital in Motril.

It was a nearby neighbour who had seen what had happened and phoned the emergency services on 112 around 22.50h Wednesday evening.

There is no further information on how the incident took place but it appears that it was an accident, although it is not known what the teenager was doing on a building site at that time in the evening.

The building site in question is on the Avenida de Andalucía.
