Today is the big day of the Fiestas de la Virgen del Carmen de La Caleta-La Guardia, which began on the 12th.

The celebrations will start off with a church service at 20.00h followed, more or less an hour later, by the transfer of the Virgen into a small open boat when the procession through the streets is transferred onto the water.

Finally, at midnight, there will be a small firework display signalling the end of the fiestas.
