The Almuñécar Town Hall has begun strimming dried-out vegetation in the Cotobro and the Mirador area, explained Councillor Luis Aragón.

Councillor Aragón said that they have two specialised workers for this task, who have already cleared the track over the old Roman bridge in Cotobro.

Over the next weeks they will move on to the Camino Real, El Mirador and the Barranco de la Cruz, which joins the former to the latter.

The councillor ended by pointing out that the Cotobro work had had to wait until this kind of work had been completed on the Loma del Gato, Golondrina and Gelibra access lanes.
