The Asociación de Chiringuitos de la Costa Tropical announced that it was up to each chiringuito to decide whether to permit naked diners or not.

The Chairman of the association, Francisco Trujillo, said that they respect and support the nudist community of Playa Cantarriján in La Herradura.

On a different note, the Asociación de Chiringuitos de la Costa Tropical considers that the announcement made by the Chairman of the Mancomunidad de la Costa Tropical, Sergio García Alabarce, that Playa Cantarriján would have approach lanes marked out by buoys, thus preventing pleasure craft from approaching the beach unless they use these marked-out lanes.

The Asociación de Chiringuito also urges town halls on the coast to move forward the commencement of the beach season as the climate is changing, providing a longer summer period. For this reason they suggest that all beaches be marked out with buoys between June and October.
