A man was attacked and stabbed at the main entrance to a block of flats where he lives in Salobreña yesterday.

The incident took place around 09.30h on Calle Muñoz Seca, reportedly after a heated argument over noise levels between neighbours, although other reports place the scene of the aggression on Calle Enrique Pareja, which is a parallel street to the first.

The victim, whose condition is described as serious, was taken to Hospital Santa Ana to undergo surgery to treat his wounds.
